We are pleased to invite you to the event focusing on know your investments from an AML/CFT perspective, organised by the ILA Alternative Investment Funds Committee and hosted by Arendt.


The event will focus on due diligence and monitoring of the assets of investment funds from an AML/CFT perspective, covering both liquid and illiquid asset classes. It aims to:

  • Provide Directors of Investment Funds and IFMs with an understanding of the key obligations and expectations in terms of "know your investments"
  • Provide practical insight on how leading asset managers are approaching "know your investments" for the main alternative asset classes, and the challenges they face 
  • Enable Directors to identify the key questions to be asking and exercise their oversight responsibilities in relation to the "know your investments" process
