The ILA Company Secretarial and Governance Officer Committee would like to invite ILA members and non-members to its new Breakfast Briefing Session, to be held on 28 March 2023.
This session focuses on the role of the company secretary and governance officer in the set-up and development of the corporate governance framework of the company by taking into consideration the legal and regulatory environment in conjunction with the company’s own articles of association and internal rules and working processes. If the company is part of a wider group of companies, the corporate governance framework must be aligned with the group’s vision, strategic aims and values.
The ILA Company Secretarial and Governance Officer Committee aims with this session to stimulate debate on how market players have set-up their governance framework and how they monitor such a framework is compliant and accurate as the legal framework and the own company’s and/or group’s directives and rules develop and change.
The speakers of the breakfast will share their experiences and provide some leads on how to address the set-up and maintenance of the corporate governance framework.
The panel and the Q&A session will be conducted in English.
