Dear ILA members, dear friends and partners,
The ILA Directors’ Day 2024 promises to be another insightful and engaging edition of our flagship event. After the success of the new format we introduced last year, we have decided to repeat it, covering a wide range of topics and leaving time for networking. Distinguished speakers from Luxembourg and abroad will discuss current corporate governance topics and share their expertise and practical experience. The always highly expected survey on NED remuneration will further be presented.
This year's programme promises to be dense and exciting, and has been designed to cover major governance topics such as fraud risk management, latest governance trends, artificial intelligence, board evaluation and more. We will also deep dive into Luxembourg SME and family business success stories and engage in interactive panel discussions and breakout sessions, all designed to broaden our horizons and deepen our understanding.
This year we will welcome two keynote speakers. In the morning Fran Marwood, a forensics partner of
PwC UK, will deliver a keynote speech on the current fraud patterns. And in the afternoon, we are honoured to welcome Mr. Gilles Roth, Finance Minister who will share his insights on Luxembourg’s current challenges and opportunities.
We are also delighted to receive Mr. Thierry Flamand, Director General of the CAA, and Mr. Claude Marx, Director General of the CSSF, to hear their views on current and upcoming regulatory challenges and opportunities.
We look forward to welcoming many of our more than 3000 members at the Hémicycle of the European Convention Centre for an inspiring day focused on corporate governance!
