21st June - Conference : ESG and Circular Economy
Women Corporate Directors, Female board pool and ILA
The Dutch ambassador H.M. Schaapveld will host a very special WCD NL event that will take place on ESG and Circular Economy. An event in follow-up of the Dutch State Visit by King Willem Alexander and Queen Maxima and the Trade Mission to Luxembourg, May 24 and 25, which will have the same focus.
ESG and Circular Economy
As the preeminent organization for women board members globally, WCD seeks to increase the representation of women on boards and in board leadership positions; to inspire when it comes to the role of the corporation in society, to inspire visionary board worldwide. The role of the corporation in society still being an abstract, politically polarizing question, that is not high on the priority of all boards. Yet, embedded in this question are strategic and operational issues critical for long term value creation. Many of these issues fall under the broad category of environmental, social and governance (ESG). From climate change impacts and the energy transition, from worker safety to workplace diversity and inclusiveness, from executive compensation and board composition to new leadership.
WCD / Female Board Pool and ILA
We are organising this event in collaboration with the Luxembourg Female Board Pool and the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA). Next to inspiring and getting inspired, it is an unique opportunity to liaise with (male and female) (non) exec. board members of Luxembourg companies, as well as to (re)connect with the ladies of the other European WCD Chapters that will also be attending.
Please note that, as it takes place at the Residence only limited places are available. If you would like to attend, please send an email to: Marie.firstname.lastname@example.org (tel: + 31 20 71 71 494), so we can provide you with an formal invitation and futher details as to the program and travel arrangements.
We very much look forward to welcoming you.
On behalf of WCD Netherlands, Mylena Pierremont, Petra Groenland & Monique van Dijken Eeuwijk
