Job offer : Education & Events Assistant (M/F/X)

We are looking for an Education & Events Assistant (M/F/X) for a 1-year CDD as of May 2022, to support our Education & Events department in the overall coordination of our training and event initiatives.

The organisation

ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005. 

ILA’s mission is to support ALL directors and governance professionals, be the governance arm to all industries in the Luxembourg eco system and enhance the application of best governance practices. 

To achieve the above, ILA works towards being the voice of governance matters as a multi-industry association as well as being an ambassador of Luxembourg as a strong business place for good governance.

ILA provides training on best practices in terms of sustainable Corporate Governance and any relevant topics, as well as supports the networking of directors and governance professionals, and issues recommendations and clear views on Corporate Governance topics.


The role  

  • Support the Education & Events team in monitoring and implementing the training program in line with our strategic objectives and with our quality requirements;

    o Follow up on registrations

    o Prepare training material according to ILA standards (presentation templates, certificates etc.)

    o Act as back-up for the team 

    o Any other task related to the training organization

  • Maintain training/events database and records updated

  • Coordinate conferences, forums and networking events either in face to face or virtually

    o Prepare agenda and follow up with speakers

    o Follow up registrations and invoicing

    o Coordinate logistics and prepare material

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the team and be responsible for the management of the common events mailbox


Qualifications

  • Outstanding relationship and communication skills

  • A relevant hands-on professional experience in a similar environment would be an asset

  • Proficient knowledge of English and French are required; knowledge of other languages, particularly German, would be a distinct advantage

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

  • Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning platforms

  • Good understanding of ILA’s mission and its activities; interest in Governance issues and ability to learn proactively and autonomously are also needed
