Thomas Goldschmidt has close to 40 years experience in the financial industry, mainly servicing corporate clients originating to a large extent from Nordic countries.
Joined Svenska Handelsbanken , Luxembourg in 1980 and stayed his entire career with this institution. Starting with Financings and heading the Corporate Trading, TG soon (1987) was responsible for the Corporate Banking unit. Over the years progressing to be the Deputy Managing Director of the bank and finally being General Manager of the Luxembourg Branch for a number of years.
Born in Stockholm and Luxembourgish citizen since 1996, speaking fluently Swedish, German, English and almost fluent in Luxembourgish and French.
Outstanding qualities are the local presence in Luxembourg, combined with availability in addition to extensive knowledge about Nordic industry.
Since 2018 Board Member of Medicover Holding, Luxembourg (listed on Stockholm Stock Exchange ) and Consultant to a Swedish Logistics company based in Bettembourg.
Prof. Vogt holds a professorship for Business Intelligence, in particular Advanced Analytics at the Department of Economics of Trier University of Applied Sciences.
Previously, Prof. Vogt worked for many years in the financial industry, first as a management consultant at KPMG Luxembourg, then as Vice President at Deutsche Bank Luxembourg SA and Deutsche Asset Management Luxembourg SA and most recently as Head of Risk, Valuation & Reporting and Managing Director for LRI Invest SA and LRI Invest Securitization SA. With this background, he combines the views of a service provider, a large corporation, a medium-sized company and a researcher on the financial sector.
Martin is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and has studied Applied Mathematics with a focus on Economics at the Universities of Trier and Glasgow. Martin obtained a PhD in Economics and Social Statistics from the University of Trier. His research has received several awards, including the Gerhard-Fürst Prize, awarded by the Federal Statistical Office.
