El-Dar has a relevant professional experience in the Luxembourg corporate administration and fund industry with special regards on legal, compliance and governance matters, including the set-up of AIFs and CSSF licenced companies, investment fund management companies (AIFM) and PSF in Luxembourg.
in addition of his mandates of independent director of various Luxembourg based structures (covering alternative investments, real estate, infrastructure), El-Dar is performing advisory activities with a focus on corporate administration, real estate asset management and brokerage.
El-Dar is graduated of master degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Coventry university. He is fluent in French, English and Russian.
Arjan Kirthi Singha
Mr. Kirthi Singha has been an independent director since April 2019 and currently holds a number of mandates with Hines in Luxembourg. Hines is a global real estate investment, development and management firm, with a presence in 214 cities in 24 countries and in excess of US$120 billion of assets under management.
Prior to becoming independent, he held the role of “Managing Director – Finance” for Hines in Luxembourg, which he joined in 2016. Mr. Kirthi Singha was responsible for Hines’ regulated businesses in Luxembourg until March 2019, when he left Hines to serve as an independent director.
Mr. Kirthi Singha provides strategic investment advice and decision making capabilities related to the investment activities of Hines Luxembourg. Prior to joining Hines Mr. Kirthi Singha spent 14 years at Anglo American Luxembourg as Director and Finance Manager after 2 years as a Treasury Operations Controller at Anglo American plc.
Mr. Kirthi Singha is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales having qualified with Ernst & Young in London.
Mr. Kirthi Singha has been resident in Luxembourg since 2002.
Philippe Salomon, born and raised in Maastricht in the Netherlands, currently works as the centre director of Berlitz Language and Business Training in Luxembourg. Philippe has been living in Luxembourg for over 20 years. Working in various sectors like retail, wholesale and information technology, he acquired a broad knowledge and understanding over a wide spectrum of interdisciplinary activities. He graduated in the Netherlands with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specialized in Strategic Business Management from Henley University.
Philippe has a customer-focused entrepreneurial spirit with 20+ years of experience in retail, wholesale, IT, Business Analysis and HR, primarily in challenging and competitive environments. Due to strong entrepreneurial experience in retail and wholesale, he drives commercial results and innovation through building positive business relationships and collaborations in and outside organizations, always focusing on customer requirements. He has built a vast network in the Luxembourg business community (he is a member of the British Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce, the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce). And as an experienced business developer, he understands that building trustful customer relationships, efficient problem solving and practical improvement of day-to-day operations are the most important aspects for maximizing client satisfaction and thus earning trust.
Philippe speaks Dutch, English, German, French and Luxembourgish. Becoming a member of the ILA presents in itself a great opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, and externally help to promote Luxembourg as a truly international and versatile global partner.
Marie-Pierre Trentini has over 29 years of experience in Custody and Fund Administration Services. She started her carrier at Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. in 1989 at Company’s inception, helping setting up the Fund Accounting department. From 1994 onwards, she headed the banking data services, a department she created, responsible for bank and funds’ assets evaluation, and for global data management (consisting mainly of managing clients, securities and other counterparts).
Marie-Pierre is a Data Governance expert, convinced that Data is a true asset to companies. She played a key role in the whole Data Governance development at Nomura and acted as chairwoman of their Data Governance Board. From her central position as whole Bank’s data provider, Marie-Pierre was involved in every major system change and regulatory projects that were initiated over years.
She is a quality-oriented person, praising transparency, control monitoring as well as respect and human-being values. Becoming a ILA member is a great honor for her and of great interest.
