Amélie is an experienced investment professional with over 20 years in the financial sector.
She served as Head of Business Development at DWS and lately at BlackRock, supporting investment professionals in Luxembourg and Belgium in managing their portfolios, setting investment solutions and managing the distribution activities and regulatory developments of the Asset and Wealth management industry.
Having worked with large Asset Managers, she gained profound knowledge on a wide range of investment solutions in active, passive and alternatives (Hedge funds, Private Equity, Real Estate) strategies using regulated and unregulated legal structures. From portfolio to risk management analysis through product innovation, she acquired deep understanding of the Asset Management world.
Amélie is embracing new professional developments as Independent Director mandated as Board Member of Luxembourg-based investment structures.
Amélie’s academic credentials include a French and German Bachelor of Science in International Management specialised in Finance from Neoma Business School, Reims (France) and ESB Business School, Reutlingen (Germany). Amélie is fluent in French, English and German. She is also a member of the Luxembourg CFA Society.
Julian Kramer is an asset management and private banking executive with 25 years’ experience, of which the last 18 years working and residing in Luxembourg.
Having started as a relationship manager in Private Banking and subsequently worked as a portfolio manager for (U)HNWI and semi-institutional clients at ABN AMRO, Julian transferred to Luxembourg in 2001 to take up the role as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) for their Luxembourg Private Bank. This role grew over the years to include the DPM and fund sales responsibility for all non-domestic hubs worldwide of the ABN AMRO Group. Between 2008 and 2011 he led the product offering at Fortis Investments and subsequently at BNP Paribas Asset Management towards all group entities. From 2011 onwards Julian headed the business development and sales efforts of Wholesale Distribution in Northern Europe; this role then expanded to become Deputy Head Europe, directly managing multiple sales teams across the continent. Julian was also a member of the executive committee of BNP Paribas Asset Management Luxembourg.
He has held numerous board and supervisory board memberships, as well as non-executive director roles within multiple entities in Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Belgium. These roles have included UCITS and Hedge Fund structures as well as Manco positions. He has also served as manager of a GP structure.
Julian has dual Dutch and British nationality and works in English, Dutch, French and German. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Economics, specialization Finance and Investments, from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
Simajit Singh Sra
Simajit Singh Sra (Simar) joined PwC Luxembourg in 2019 and works in the Financial Services Advisory practice with focus on alternative assets.
For the last 6 years, he was involved in the KfW DEG’s investment activities (private equity/private debt/PE funds) in emerging markets, managing deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio.
He has sourced and executed transactions in various sectors, including financial institutions, infrastructure/project finance, and corporates.
Prior to this, he was managing the treasury team of a listed business in India. He started his career in computer programming and worked for leading software companies as a software engineer.
He holds an MBA in Finance from Indian Institute of Management and a Masters in Technology in computer science from Indian Institute of Technology.
