Candidate Brief - ILA Board of Directors
By Carine Feipel

Dear Member,

At this year’s annual general meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, 21 June 2023, the mandates of 9 of our Board members will end. In addition, my term as Chair expires at this year’s AGM and I have informed the Board of my decision to step down from the Board at this time. This means that 10 positions in the ILA Board will need to be filled this year. 2 Directors whose mandates end have served the maximum term and cannot be renewed. As of today, all 7 of the remaining Directors whose mandates end this year have confirmed that they intend to stand for re-election.

ILA promotes equality and diversity in all its aspects, and applications for an ILA Board position are encouraged from all interested and motivated individuals, regardless of their previous work experience, background or sector, industry and areas of expertise.

Nevertheless, this year, in order to maintain the balance between individual members and corporate representatives, we encourage applications from non-executive directors. In addition, in order to complement the existing skills and knowledge of the Board, applications would be welcome from individuals with an ESG competence and/or IT/digital expertise, to bring a fresh perspective on innovation in line with the Institute’s mission and vision, and to help and support the definition of the Institute’s future direction in these areas.

Should you wish to apply for an ILA board member position, please send your CV as well as the 2023 Candidate Application Form, duly completed and signed, with a recent picture in jpg format attached, to: va.rondeau@ila.lu by Thursday, 20 April 2023, CoB.

All complete application files will be reviewed and analysed by the Nomination Committee in order to make recommendations to the Board in view of the elections at the Annual General Meeting.

Kind regards,

Carine Feipel
Chair
