Bertrand is a Director at CF Fund Services S.A., a Professional of the Financial Sector offering central administration services for all types of regulated investment vehicles, wholly-owned subsidiary of BDO Luxembourg.
Since July 2010, he leads the legal and regulatory department with a focus on the structuration of Luxembourg regulated products.
He is board member of several investment funds (Private Equity – Real Estate).
He has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1999.
Yann Power is Regulatory Expert at me business solutions (mebs). mebs provides professional governance solutions to management companies, alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs), UCITS, alternative investment funds (AIFs) and professionals of the financial sector (PSFs), as well as unregulated structures.
Yann is specialised in governance, compliance and regulatory matters impacting traditional and alternative asset management. He serves Luxembourg management companies, AIFMs and funds.
He is co-chairman of the ILA Alternatives Taskforce and of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI)’s European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) Working group. He is a member of a number of industry working groups and of the Association of Luxembourg Compliance Officers (ALCO).
Didier Morin comes from a background in external audit.
Qualified as a CPA in France, he has more than 15 years of experience in the governance, operational management and controlling of both regulated and unregulated investment schemes.
His is currently Conducting Officer and/or Compliance Officer to AIFM pursuing Real Estate, Private Equity, Transferable securities and other investment strategies.
He is, inter alia, Conducting Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Carlisle Management Company, an authorised AIFM.
Laurent graduated from ESCP Europe with a degree in finance. He also holds two masters in Mathematics and Statistics and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Laurent has 25 years of experience working within financial markets. He started in 1994 at Credit Lyonnais in New York at the equity syndication desk before joining Exane Inc. in 1997 for the opening of convertible bond sales to American clients.
After returning to Paris in 2000, Laurent continued to manage the sale of convertible bonds to European institutional investors for Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and then Société Générale until 2009.
Laurent then joined Philippe Halb selling fixed income funds for SPGP and then joined Dynasty AM as a partner and Head of Development in February 2014.
Bernard Pons began his career in 2001 with KBL epb S.A. where he gained experience in credit and equity analysis, fund management and the organisation and management of banking institutions. In late 2003, Bernard joined the Private Equity & Corporate Finance department where he was responsible for KBL epb’s proprietary portfolios for unlisted investment (Private Equity, Leverage Loans, Infrastructure,..). In 2005 Bernard pursued his career as a fund manager and analyst in the bank’s Fund Research & Multi-Management department where he managed, together with his team, UCITS funds and Hedge Fund of Funds. At that time, Bernard has been recognized for his asset management capabilities in Eastern Europe. He was twice in a row awarded the prize for the best fund of funds manager in 2007 and 2008 over a period of 5 years during the prestigious Fund Ceremony in Paris organized by the French magazine "Investir". While still at KBL epb S.A., Bernard dedicated himself to develop risk management tools and processes to help the fund industry to better anticipate extreme shocks and volatility spikes as we lived in 2008.
In 2010, Bernard left KBL epb and decided to create together with 4 colleagues Pure Capital S.A., an independent asset management company where he is Managing Partner in charge of the Risk Management and the Management Company Services.
Pure Capital is organized around 3 main activities: Wealth Management, dedicated to the analysis, advice and management of the financial wealth of private clients; Asset Management, with the collective management of assets across a very limited range of investment funds; and finally, Management Company services, dedicated to the structuring and administration of investment funds on behalf of third parties.
Bernard is sessional university lecturer at the University Paris-Nanterre for 2 course programs: banking and financial laws & hedge fund strategy.
Bernard has an MSc degree in Financial Engineering and Economics from the University of Liège (HEC-ULg) and holds different professional certifications in finance and banking.
ILA board member, with more than 20 years of experience in the finance and investment banking sector. She is board member of numerous companies with infrastructure investments. She obtained the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance and is a Certified Director of ILA since 2012. She is also Board member at, the Institute for Global Financial Integrity (TIGFI), and INSEAD Alumni Association Luxembourg. She is also Member of the Advisory Board of the INSEAD IDP Network. She has broad experience of investment decision processes, valuations, definition and implementation of long term strategy, monitoring execution and performance of investment.
