How to manage Cyber Security risks in the Digital age?
Najia Belbal is an Independent Director and Board Advisor, sitting on several advisory boards and running in parallel a career of Program Manager within a major financial institution.
She started in IT field as a software developer. This experience of more than 15 years, within several international major players in finance, provided her with a solid background in complex environments and a basis in the roll-out of challenging IT projects.
Her main fields of expertise are the digital transformation or how to cascade strategies into innovative services, cybersecurity and its governance from a board perspective, risk management and digital marketing strategies.
Najia is active in several working groups and committees related to IT governance, cybersecurity, ethics, and digitalization (ALFI, ILA…)
Believing passionately in freedom, empowerment, and entrepreneurism, she is driven to build a more secure world and is obsessive about addressing the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using digital solutions.
Najia is pursuing an international portfolio career supporting financial institutions and/or fintech in her domains of expertise.
Driven by the will to deliver outstanding quality and to make a positive difference, Najia took part of the ADP program organized by ILA and INSEAD in 2019 and finalized the INSEAD - LDTI program in 2020.
Christophe is the co founder and the managing director of Excellium Services. Excellium was founded in 2012 by the willingness of people active in the Information Security field for over 14 years.
Because companies face new threats with increasing budgetary constraints and limited resources it is needed to have new approaches, pragmatics, effectives with an innovative business model. Recently the Group Excellium have extended its operations to Belgium but also Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal and Ivory Coast.
He is since September 2018 Associate professor at Telecom Nancy in the cybersecurity track and regularly speaks at conferences on Information Security issue, analysis of the economics of cybercrime or evolving threats. He is supporting the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ila.lu) on cybersecurity education and the cybersecurity Working Group at Association of Information (APSI) professionals in Luxembourg.
