FEIPEL Carine

Carine Feipel is the current Chair of ILA.

She is a Luxembourg attorney and certified independent director (INSEAD IDP-C and ILA Certified).
She is a member of the Board of Directors of a bank, several insurance companies, investment funds and other undertakings.

She has practiced as a lawyer since 1994, specializing in insurance law. She spent almost 20 years with a major Luxembourg law firm before becoming independent in 2014. She advises insurance and reinsurance companies as well as other financial institutions on insurance law related questions.

Since 2010, Carine Feipel has been a member of various committees within the Haut Comité pour la Place Financière.

GOUTIÈRE Philippe

Philippe is founder and Managing Partner of ABIL S.A., a company providing risk management and insurance brokerage services. His past experience includes positions as insurance broker, financial institutions underwriter, reinsurance treaties broker, insurance and operational risk manager for a major banking group and General Manager of the Luxembourg branch of an international insurance company 

Philippe holds a master degree in economics from UCL-Mons, Belgium, a master degree in financial risk management from Université St-Louis, Belgium and is a CFA charterholder.


ROEMERS Charles

Charles is an of counsel in MNKS, a business law firms providing both local and international clients with legal services. He is working across various departments with a focus in the Real Estate and Tax departments where he assists clients in the structuring and negotiation of domestic and cross-border transactions.

He started his professional career by working as a tax consultant with a Big 4 firm. After setting up the tax department of a magic circle law firm in Luxembourg, he joined a major local law firm before co-founding in 2007 the law firm RTP.

Charles holds a Law degree and a Postgraduate diploma in Tax Laws from Free University of Brussels, Belgium and is a Member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2000.

He is fluent in French, English and German.
