Course outline
Sustainability governance is a key focus area for Fund stakeholders. This module introduces the fundamentals of sustainable/ESG investing and sustainability governance frameworks. It explores the sustainability regulations and standards, contractual disclosures and reporting to stakeholders. It covers the questions investment fund and investment fund manager directors should be asking and future developments that will impact the sustainability arena. It includes practical case studies and is facilitated by leading industry practitioners.

- Introduction to sustainability and sustainable finance
- ESG risks and opportunities
- Global and EU initiatives and standards overview
- Sustainability governance
- Regulatory deep dive – overview, documentation and reporting
- The concept of greenwashing
- Sustainability strategy, framework and policies including addressing key risks
- Case studies
Target audience
A group of about 20 persons representing:

Governing bodies of investment funds (UCITS, SIF, SICAR, RAIF,...)

Governing bodies of investment fund managers (UCITS management companies and alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs))
