Tracey McDermott is a Governance Specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the Funds’ industry and acts as independent Director for a number of regulated and unregulated funds and management companies.

Her areas of expertise include: Independent Director on UCITS (Mixed Strategies – e.g. Long only, Long/Short, Absolute Return, Currency etc.) and Alternative Investment Funds (Mixed Strategies and Infrastructure AIFs); experience in major, emerging and frontier markets; fund operations, compliance and risk management; operational background giving in-depth, hands-on operational experience/knowledge and in-depth regulatory knowledge.

Tracey is an active participant within ALFI (Luxembourg’s fund industry association), ILA (the Luxembourg Directors’ Association), and has moderated and spoken on panels at industry forums.



Nicolas Deldime is a Partner at Arendt Regulatory & Consulting.

He was a Director in the consulting practice of a Big Four company, before joining Arendt Regulatory & Consulting in 2012. Nicolas has in-depth expertise in financial sector regulation and its impact on business, gained in servicing numerous banks, funds and asset managers. He notably provides advisory services in relation to MiFID, fund distribution operations, business and license transformation.

Nicolas holds a master's degree in Law from the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium).

Michèle Eisenhuth is a Partner in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. She specialises in investment fund law, advising domestic and international clients on the corporate, regulatory and compliance aspects of the structuring, operation and reorganisation of investment funds and their management entities.

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1995.

She sits on the board of directors of several funds and management companies launched by international asset management groups.

She also sits on the board of directors of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) since June 2017, and on the board of directors of the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA).

Michèle is a chairman and active member of several committees set-up by the ALFI, as well as ad hoc committees set up by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF).

She is co-chairman of the Investment Funds Committee of the Lex Mundi independent law firms network as well as a member of the Investment Funds Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). She is also a member of the European Banking Federation, more particularly involved in the Investment Funds Group.

Michèle is a regular speaker at ALFI, IBA, Lex Mundi and other conferences in Luxembourg or abroad, and a lecturer at the Luxembourg Institute for Training in Banking.

Michèle holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université de Liège (Belgium).

Gérard is a Director within our Strategy and Corporate Finance Department. He joined Deloitte Tax & Consulting in January 2011. He is specialised in Regulatory, Strategy and Operations set-up engagements. His areas of activities include Asset Management and Services client, Global Custody and Banking clients for traditional and alternative assets. 

Gérard has lead different target operating model definition, CSSF License filling (AIFM and special depositary,) Request for Proposal and Due Diligence reviews for the selection of Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Custody in Europe, multiple control framework definition both for Depositary Bank and Management Company since he joined Deloitte (AIFMD and UCITS) as well as MiFID II impact assessment.

Gérard is leading Deloitte Luxembourg Consulting PE/RE initiative.

Before joining Deloitte, Gérard served as Head of Regulatory and Fund Structuring team and as product manager within BNP Paribas Securities Services for 10 years in total. 

Gérard has lead different projects covering creation of a PE/RE service offering, UCITS IV lobbying and impact analysis, Hedge Fund platform selection and implementation, Investment Fund web reporting platform development, launched the first real estate fund.
