Raymond holds a ‘Masters’ degree in Economics and a ‘Licence’ in Law from ULP Strasbourg. He has 29 years of experience in audit and consultancy of large (financial and non-financial) international groups as well as SME’s and public institutions, acquired with Arthur Andersen (1981-2002) and Ernst & Young (2002-2010) respectively – for whom he also served as COO, CFO and CEO in Luxembourg as well as CFO for CWEA (Continental Western Europe and Africa). He presently sits as independent director on the Board of following Companies/Groups: Banque Raiffeisen Luxembourg, CDCL S.A., Deveco Sàrl, Intesa SanPaolo International Holding S.A., Luxexpo S.A (chairman), Luxinnovation GIE (chairman), Minusines S.A., Pectus Investment S.A., Private Equity International S.A. and Snapswap International S.A. . He is an INSEAD (2011) and ILA (2012) Certified Director. Raymond was chairman of ILA from 1 July 2015 to 18 June 2019, he is still the chairman of the ILA Education Committee. He also chairs the Arbitration Committee of the Arbitration Centre of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and is a vice-chairman of the ‘Sustainability Council’ set up by the Luxembourg Government. He is also committed to several philanthropic and societal organisations & projects.
Ravi Fernando holds a MBA from the University of Colombo and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing(UK),he holds a Diploma in International Management and completed the Advanced Management Program at the INSEAD Business school in (France) .He is an Alumni of the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainable Leadership having Completed the Climate Leadership Programme in 2007 and the Post. Grad. Certificate in Sustainable Business at Cambridge University in 2008 with Distinction and is in the pioneer cohort to complete a Masters in Sustainable Leadership at Cambridge University in 2013.
He is Operations Director – Malaysian Blue Ocean Strategy Institute since Dec 2011.
He was the United Nations Global Compact Focal point for Sri Lanka 2003-2010 and was the founder of the UN Global compact Sri Lanka network in 2010.
His career with Multi-nationals – Unilever, Sterling health International, Smithkline Beecham International and Reckitt Benckiser covered Africa, Middle East and Asia in CEO/Marketing Management positions. He was the first CEO SLINTEC (Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology) in 2008-2010 and member of the National Task Force on Development of the 5year Science and Technology strategy 2010.
In Academia, He was a faculty member of the INSEAD Advanced Management Program from 2005-2010 and an Executive in Residence at the INSEAD Social Innovation centre from September 2010.He is also a visiting faculty member at the Deusto Business school, Universtat of Pompeu Fabra in Spain and University of Colombo MBA. In September 2007 he won a “Global Strategy Leadership award” at the World Strategy Summit for his work on Ethical branding for the Sri Lankan Apparel and Tea sectors.
WILLAIME Franck A.
Franck Willaime has over 20 years entrepreneurship exposure in the Fintech industry and was instrumental in the growth of several start-up companies, three of which were successfully sold to billion-dollar firms. The latest one was an award-winning enterprise data management platform, dedicated to the asset management industry, successfully sold to IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO) in 2012. Franck is a venture partner with Paris based PE firm,BlackFin Capital Partners and acts as a NED on a number of boards of alternative investment funds, including C4 Ventures funds initiated by Pascal Cagni, the former General Manager of Apple Europe.
