DELANO Michael

Mike is an assurance partner specializing in the asset management industry. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Baltimore, Maryland where he worked for 8 years before transferring to the New York office in 2004. In 2007 Mike transferred to our office in Luxembourg.

His experience has focused on leading audit engagements across a number of worldwide companies, including a wide spectrum of investment funds - equities, fixed income, emerging markets, hedge funds, private equity funds, as well as corporate audits including banks, broker/dealers and investment advisors.

Since relocating in Luxembourg, Mike has spent a significant amount of time in the fund industry primarily covering US and UK promoters which included responsibilities for actively promoting Luxembourg in the US as well as the UK. He is leading our Blockchain/Crypto team in Lux which involves working with local and international players active in this space. He is also chairing the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA) Fund Committee and is a member of the ALFI Fund Governance Forum.

HORNSBY Michael

Michael has 30 years of experience in audit and business advisory including the design operations and governance structures of a broad range of international collective investment vehicles and has played a leading role in the development of the financial frameworks of such funds including NAV methodologies, accounting standards, valuation methodologies and performance measures through his role at ALFI and INREV.

An engineer by background, he is also a member of the RICS and helped lead the development of the INREV Integrated Guidelines where he is also a member of INREV’s Management Board.

BROWN Kevin

Kevin is an accomplished Executive and Non-Executive Board Member/Chairman undertaking a wider portfolio career deploying his extensive Payment and Fund industry knowledge and board experience in selected advisory and non-executive director roles both in the UK and Internationally.  Kevin is a career banker with 35 years of experience, formally Global Head of Transaction Services for RBS where he also had responsibility for Payments and Fund Services.  He is an industry expert and speaker on Global Transaction Banking, Payments & Treasury/Funds business and regulatory issues.

He was the former Chairman of FundRock Management Company SA and is currently an Independent Member of the Bank of England RTGS/CHAPS Board and Chair of CHAPS Strategic Advisory Forum, a member of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Regulatory Decisions Committee and the Payment Systems Regulator (PSR), Enforcement Decisions Committee; he is Chair of Audit, Risk & Governance and Senior Independent Board member of the Phonepaid Services Authority (Regulating premium phone/text activity and in-app purchases in the UK, a member of the FundRock Group Strategic Advisory Board and an Advisory Board Member & Founding Investor in Form3 - Financial Cloud.

WOOD Revel

Co-founder ONE group solutions, the industry leading fund governance provider in Luxembourg. ONE group is made up of four business lines providing solutions in: Fund Management, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting, Corporate & Governance Services, Next Generation Technology. Prior to this, he was group CEO of FundRock, (formerly RBS Luxembourg). At the helm he successfully navigated through the RBS “exit from Luxembourg”, steering the company clear of collapse, going on to grow the rebranded FundRock five fold in three years. Prior to FundRock, as deputy MD and head of business strategy, he led Northern Trust Fund Services in Luxembourg (including ManCo), with growth of 80% in three years during his tenure.

His success in Luxembourg is attributed to building a strong network, and a reputation as a loyal, trusted and results oriented industry partner. Prior to moving to Luxembourg, Revel was Global Head of Derivative Product and Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) for Northern Trust in London, and contributed to their success of Global Fund Services business expansion.

Revel is not the stereotypical CEO, having come from a working class mining family, recognised for leadership in the military and worked his way through operations, risk management, product and business strategy into two CEO roles. He appreciates the value of looking after hard working peoples savings and sees the greater purpose in what we do in the funds industry, quoted as saying: “ I love what we do, with the right team we can have a real positive impact on peoples savings, by build quality solutions for our clients investors that add real value and keep their retirement plans safe.” He is an experienced and energised leader with 30 years of leadership experience, passionate about high quality customer solutions by inspiring a sense of pride and collective ownership in the teams he led.
