DELANO Michael

Mike is an assurance partner specializing in the asset management industry. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Baltimore, Maryland where he worked for 8 years before transferring to the New York office in 2004. In 2007 Mike transferred to our office in Luxembourg.

His experience has focused on leading audit engagements across a number of worldwide companies, including a wide spectrum of investment funds - equities, fixed income, emerging markets, hedge funds, private equity funds, as well as corporate audits including banks, broker/dealers and investment advisors.

Since relocating in Luxembourg, Mike has spent a significant amount of time in the fund industry primarily covering US and UK promoters which included responsibilities for actively promoting Luxembourg in the US as well as the UK. He is leading our Blockchain/Crypto team in Lux which involves working with local and international players active in this space. He is also chairing the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA) Fund Committee and is a member of the ALFI Fund Governance Forum.

BACHNER Monique

Monique is an Independent Director and Board Advisor, sitting on several Boards and Advisory Boards and running her own law practice. 

Having started her career as a corporate lawyer at Magic Circle firms, she now assists Boards with legal, regulatory and governance matters, and the creation of their governance, innovation and digital transformation strategies.  Her particular expertise is in the intersection of ethical, governance and regulatory frameworks. 

In addition to being on the Board of ILA (the Luxembourg Institute of Directors), she is Chair of LëtzBlock (the Luxembourg Blockchain and DLT Association).  Monique is an ILA Certified Director and INSEAD IDP-C. 

Monique is active in several international working groups related to governance, ethics, digitisation, decentralisation, and regulations.  She is a frequent speaker at conferences and training programmes around the world.

ZWICK Marco


BÜLTMANN Ruth

Ruth is a former Advisory & Consulting Partner with Deloitte Tax & Consulting, Luxembourg specialised in asset management and banking activities.

Within Deloitte’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice, she was Leader for the German speaking market as well as Leader Family Office Services.

Her professional experience covers the entire investment management value chain from strategic, operational and regulatory perspectives. Before joining Deloitte as Partner in 2011, Ruth has been responsible as director, managing director and CEO for 2 management companies in Luxembourg, their day to day management and business development during several years. Her business experience over the last 20 years covers areas such as product development, structuring of investment funds, legal & compliance, portfolio and risk management, fund administration, custody services, domiciliation & administration of companies.

Since October 2015, Ruth is acting as chairwoman/ non-executive director of management companies in Luxembourg, Switzerland, France managing both UCITS and AIF and of a large Japanese banking institution. Ruth is an ILA and INSEAD (IDP-C) certified director, as well as Qualifizierter Aufsichtsrat, Deutsche Börse AG and Certified Financial Expert, Deutsche Börse AG, focussing on audit, risk & compliance matters. She is regular member/chair of Audit, Risk and Compliance committees.

She is member of ILA’s Board of directors and member of the Comité GFI (gestionnaires de fonds d’investissement) at the CSSF.

DIENHART Manuel

GOLDAK Birgit

Birgit is Risk Assurance Partner at PwC Luxembourg focused on Asset Management including the alternative investment funds industry with more than 20 years of international work experience.

Birgit leads PwC’s AML Services for Wealth and Asset Management, & Distribution/Counter Party Due Diligence Service across industries. She also leads the Performance Assurance Practice (Controls Reports). She is well connected within the Luxembourg market and the PwC Global AML network.

DOGNIEZ Nathalie

Nathalie is an authorised auditor and a Regulatory Partner. She leads the EMEA ESG team.

She has been focussing on ESG matters for nearly 20 years with a strong focus on sustainable finance agenda, and in particular disclosure matters over the past months.

She has more than 30 years’ experience in auditing and advising on regulatory aspects asset managers, service providers and investment funds in Luxembourg and throughout Europe.

She is and has been member of numerous professional associations. She contributes to committees and working groups within the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA), LuxFlag, Luxembourg School of Finance (LSF) and Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA).

For instance, she co-chairs ALFI working groups on UCITS Eligible Assets, Money Market Funds, Asset Management and Systemic Risk and AIFMD Reporting. She is also a Member of the ALFI Regulatory Board.

She is a member of LuxFlag ESG Label Eligibility Committee as well as EFAMA’s Stewardship, Market Integrity and ESG Investment Standing Committee. She lectures at the Luxembourg School of Finance on SRI (master in asset management). She is also part of AIMA Sustainable Investment WG.

In relation with Money Market Funds, she is chairing the ALFI’s MMF working group since 2014 and has followed all steps leading to the finalization of this regulation. She is now deeply involved in the implementation of this regulation, advising asset managers and service providers.

She is also a regulator speaker at conferences across Europe on regulatory matters and on responsible investments.

Recently, she has also undertook the responsibility of a significant digital transformation programme covering all aspects such as transforming user experience, agile development and change management.

DUPIN Sophie


KELLY Henry

Henry Kelly is the Managing Director of the Luxembourg-based consultancy firm that he founded in 1999. His firm, KellyConsult Sàrl, is a licensed business advisory company (“société de conseil économique”) that provides services to the investment fund sector in Luxembourg and internationally. He was the Founding Chairman of the ALFI Fund Governance Forum from its establishment in 2011 until 2018 and serves on the Investment Funds Committee of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA). He was a member of the ALFI Executive Committee for ten years (1995 – 2005). He is a member of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA) Corporate Governance Working Group and is a regular speaker at conferences on fund industry matters. He is an independent director of several investment funds and management companies.

From 1993 – 1999 he was a Managing Director of Flemings Luxembourg (now JP Morgan Asset Management). Prior to joining Flemings in 1993, Henry Kelly worked in the capital markets division of BNP Paribas for 5 years following 7 years’ experience with Price Waterhouse in Paris, Frankfurt and New York. He has a master’s degree in Modern Languages from Cambridge University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. In 2013 he obtained the INSEAD Certificate of Corporate Governance and qualified as an ILA certified director

LOCKWOOD William

William Lockwood has been working in the financial services industry in Luxembourg since 1982.

He was appointed as a non-executive director to the Board of Franklin Templeton Investment Funds on December 1, 2014.

He is a Scottish Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, London.

He has served as a director and international vice chairman of the Luxembourg Fund Industry Association (ALFI) and as a council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

He holds the INSEAD International Directors Programme Certificate in Corporate Governance (IDP-C) and is certified as a qualified Director by the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (The Luxembourg Institute of Directors).

WOOD Revel

Co-founder ONE group solutions, the industry leading fund governance provider in Luxembourg. ONE group is made up of four business lines providing solutions in: Fund Management, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting, Corporate & Governance Services, Next Generation Technology. Prior to this, he was group CEO of FundRock, (formerly RBS Luxembourg). At the helm he successfully navigated through the RBS “exit from Luxembourg”, steering the company clear of collapse, going on to grow the rebranded FundRock five fold in three years. Prior to FundRock, as deputy MD and head of business strategy, he led Northern Trust Fund Services in Luxembourg (including ManCo), with growth of 80% in three years during his tenure.

His success in Luxembourg is attributed to building a strong network, and a reputation as a loyal, trusted and results oriented industry partner. Prior to moving to Luxembourg, Revel was Global Head of Derivative Product and Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) for Northern Trust in London, and contributed to their success of Global Fund Services business expansion.

Revel is not the stereotypical CEO, having come from a working class mining family, recognised for leadership in the military and worked his way through operations, risk management, product and business strategy into two CEO roles. JONES William

William Jones is the founder of ManagementPlus Group which was established in 2006 and provides directorship and management company services from Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, Singapore, New York and Geneva. Mr. Jones has 24 years’ experience in the hedge fund industry and has held senior positions with Goldman Sachs Asset Management International and Bank of Bermuda/HSBC. He completed the first cohort of the INSEAD International Directors Program (“IIDP”) in 2011 and is a member of the IIDP Advisory Board and served as its first President. Mr. Jones has been certified as a director by IIDP and the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (“ILA”). He sits on the 

Board of Directors of ILA and its Fund Governance Committee and co-chaired the Alternative Investment Task Force of ILA’s Fund Governance Committee which issued the “ILA Guide for Board Members in the Context of AIF and AIFM” in July 2014. He sits on multiple committees of ALFI, the Luxembourg fund industry association. He was co-vice chair of the Alternative Investment Management Association’s (“AIMA”) working group which issued “AIMA’s Fund Director Guide” in April 2015. He served on the Board of Governors of the International School of Luxembourg from 2011 to 2015 and was its Chairman during the 2014-15 school year.


KRENTZ Julie

Julie is Country Head of VAM in Luxembourg and a Board member of VAM Global Management Company SA, VAM Global Sárl and VAM Global Services Sárl.


Prior to joining VAM in 2016, Julie worked for leading international organisations developing their cross-border fund distribution strategies and implementing operations to support such strategies. Having commenced her financial services career in 1980, Julie arrived in Luxembourg in 1987 acquiring an in-depth knowledge of Luxembourg UCITS and AIFs.


Julie is experienced in managing outsourced financial service providers internationally and has a track record in coaching strong management teams.


Julie holds an MBA from the University of Leicester and is a Certified Director in Luxembourg. She also holds qualifications in Private Client Advice and Risk Management in Financial Services.

STAINIER Florence

Florence Stainier is a Partner in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach where she specialises in legal and regulatory matters related to investment funds and management entities. She advises clients on the creation, structuring, marketing and operations of investment funds with a particular focus on UCITS, alternative UCITS, hedge funds and ETFs.

She has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2004 and was also a member of the Brussels Bar (Belgium) until 2013.

She is participating in several working groups of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) in particular relating to MIFID, Islamic finance and UCITS matters. Florence is also a member of the Luxembourg Association of Compliance Officers (ALCO).

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, she worked for three years as a lawyer at the Liège Bar (Belgium).

Florence Stainier holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université de Liège (Belgium) as well as a Master’s degree in tax from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Liège (Belgium).

Daniela has over 25 years’ experience in risk management, financial management and corporate governance across various jurisdictions.

She joined Crestbridge to lead the development of our Luxembourg office and launch our management company services. 

Previously, Daniela spent nine years as Head of Finance for a major global asset manager and four years as CEO for one of the first independent management companies. 

She is a member of ILA, ALRiM, sits on various ALFI committees involved in risk management, fund governance and TER and is a regular speaker at industry events on topics such as AIFMD, risk management and management company. Daniela holds an MScBA and is fluent in four languages.

Olivier Carré is a partner in the PWC Luxembourg office (Regulatory and Compliance Advisory Services Department).Within his professional career over the past 15 years as advisor and auditor in Big Four firms, Olivier developed a thorough knowledge of the Investment Fund and Banking industries. In particular, in the domain of regulatory rule-sets interpretation and implementation. Olivier is leading the MiFID II working group of PwC Luxembourg composed of business, legal and tax experts focusing on the operational, business and revenue impacts of the new requirements for the Financial Services industry.

Olivier holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Tax Law and a Master’s degree in Management and Economics Sciences, both from the HEC-ULg Business School in Liège, Belgium. He is a member of the “Ordre des Experts Comptables” (Association of Chartered Accounts) and co-chairs the ALFI risk management committee.
