Managing and communicating company data (M4 S9 CoSec Cert)
Carmen Schellekens is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property (IP), Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and competition practice of NautaDutilh Avocats Luxembourg. She assists clients in IT, data protection, e-archiving, e-commerce, IP and general commercial matters.
Prior to joining NautaDutilh Avocats Luxembourg in 2015, Carmen worked for several years at the Brussels office of the top ranked international law firm DLA Piper.
Carmen obtained her Master degree in law from the Catholic University of Leuven (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium). She also completed a Master in General Management (economics) at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School (Belgium).
Carmen is a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and has written several publications in the areas of data protection and e-commerce. In 2014, Carmen won the VPG pleading competition of the Brussels Bar.
Carmen was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2011 and to the Luxembourg Bar in 2016.
Carmen is a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and French.
