Practical approach to mentoring at the board level
David Clutterbuck is visiting professor of coaching and mentoring at four universities. Co-founder of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, the primary professional body globally in this field, he is now its Special Ambassador, tasked with spreading good practice internationally. David led the research team that created the industry standards for mentoring. Author or co-author of more than 70 books, he was recently named as no 1 influencer on coaching in Europe. He is a distinguished fellow of The Conference Board. He aims to take on a new learning challenge each year. (The toughest so far was learning to be a stand-up comic!)
Aude started her career in 1999 as an equity portfolio trader and portfolio manager in New York and London as well as a Senior Risk Arbitrage specialist for ICAP.
In 2009 Aude co-founded Link Management, an art wealth management firm and launched in 2017 an art-backed securitization fund with the banking Group Reyl & Cie to provide non-recourse art loans to collectors and offer asset-backed notes with fixed interest rates to investors.
Aude is a member of the Board of Directors and chairman of the audit committee of AXA Wealth Europe since 2016 and the Chairman of Equilibre, a Think Tank that promotes gender complementarity in middle and top management.
Since 2020 Aude is a member of the Board at Ruffer SICAV and Ruffer Protection Strategies, collective vehicles at Ruffer LLP and a member of the Board of Private Equity International.
Thomas Seale is a Non-Executive Independent Director for the asset management, banking and insurance industries. Before that, Thomas was CEO of European Fund Administration (EFA) from 1997 until 2017. EFA is a leading independent provider of administration services to third parties in Luxembourg serving more than 2000 portfolios and 125 Billion EUR.
Thomas has been an active member of the European and Luxembourg fund industries, having served on the Board of the Association for the Luxembourg Fund Industry since 2001. He was elected Chairman of ALFI in 2003 and served the maximum two terms until 2007, when he became Vice Chairman, serving four years. He also was Chairman of LuxFLAG (Luxembourg Fund Labelling Agency--sustainable finance) between 2012-2019. Before EFA, he was Managing Director and Country Corporate Officer for Citibank Luxembourg.
Thomas completed the INSEAD International Directors Program and is a certified independent director from the Luxembourg Directors Institute since June 2017.
