POWER Yann

Yann Power is Regulatory Expert at me business solutions (mebs). mebs provides professional governance solutions to management companies, alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs), UCITS, alternative investment funds (AIFs) and professionals of the financial sector (PSFs), as well as unregulated structures.

Yann is specialised in governance, compliance and regulatory matters impacting traditional and alternative asset management. He serves Luxembourg management companies, AIFMs and funds.

He is co-chairman of the ILA Alternatives Taskforce and of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI)’s European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) Working group. He is a member of a number of industry working groups and of the Association of Luxembourg Compliance Officers (ALCO).

BURMAN Keith

Keith Burman is a Luxembourg-based independent director on various cross-border real estate, private equity, debt and infrastructure investment funds and corporate entities.

He is involved in several industry bodies (ALFI, ILA, RICS, LuxAfrica) and is a chartered Fellow of the RICS and an ILA Certified Director.

HORNSBY Michael

Michael is EY's EMEIA Real Estate Funds Leader specialized in international real estate and private equity structures.

Michael has 30 years of experience in audit and business advisory including the design operations and governance structures of a broad range of international collective investment vehicles and has played a leading role in the development of the financial frameworks of such funds including NAV methodologies, accounting standards, valuation methodologies and performance measures through his role at ALFI and INREV.

An engineer by background, he is also a member of the RICS and helped lead the development of the INREV Integrated Guidelines where he is also a member of INREV’s Management Board.

RABINOWICZ Michael

Michael is General Counsel at Mangrove Capital Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm. At Mangrove, he manages the firm’s legal affairs and is responsible for the structuring, negotiation and execution of investments and exits.

Michael has over 10 years of experience in advising on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions. He is admitted as a Solicitor of the Superior Courts of England & Wales.

SCHMITZ Hans-Jürgen

Hans-Jürgen is co-founder and a Managing Partner of Mangrove Capital Partners. Mangrove is a venture capital investment firm with a focus on Europe, Israel and selected emerging markets.

He has over 17 years direct investment experience and is also responsible for all fund structuring and governance matters at Mangrove. Hans-Jürgen was the founding chairman of the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) and sits on it Executive Committee.

He is also a member of the Alternative Investment advisor group to the Haut Comitée de la Place Financière as well as the industry advisory committee of the Luxembourg Financial Services Regulator (CSSF).

SALVAT-WINTER Bronwyn

Bronwyn Salvat-Winter is the Compliance Director and Conducting Officer for M&G Luxembourg, a Super ManCo with approx. EUR80bn AuM across Real Estate, UCITS and Fixed Income products. She has been with M&G Lux since 2008 working initially in an operational and governance capacity for 5 Real Estate funds where she was responsible for risk, valuation, compliance and oversight of delegates.

She project managed the setting up of a Ch 16 ManCo in 2012, obtaining an AIFM license and implementing the AIFM operating model in 2014. More recently, she was a core member of the project team extending the AIFM license to a Super ManCo license and setting up and implementing an expanded Lux operating platform as M&G’s response to Brexit.

ALDINGER Adrian

Adrian Aldinger is a Partner in the Private Equity & Real Estate practice of Arendt & Medernach where he advises fund sponsors on all legal and regulatory aspects related to the structuring, formation, marketing and ongoing operation of alternative investment funds with a particular focus on real estate, private equity, debt and venture capital funds.

Further areas of expertise include primary and secondary fund investments, fund governance and compliance, separately managed accounts, joint ventures as well as carried interest and co-investment arrangements.

He studied law in Erlangen and Berlin and holds the German first (2007) and second (2009) state exam in law. He is admitted to the bars of Berlin (Germany) and Luxembourg.

He is founding member and vice chairman of the German-Luxembourg Lawyers’ Association.

VILLALOBOS Rosa

ILA board member, with more than 20 years of experience in the finance and investment banking sector. She is board member of numerous companies with infrastructure investments. She obtained the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance and is a Certified Director of ILA since 2012. She is also Board member of Macquarie companies and  at the International School of Luxembourg. She is the Luxembourg Ambassador of the INSEAD Directors Network. She has broad experience of investment decision processes, valuations, definition and implementation of long term strategy, monitoring execution and performance of investment.

DELANO Michael

Mike is an assurance partner specializing in the asset management industry. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Baltimore, Maryland where he worked for 8 years before transferring to the New York office in 2004. In 2007 Mike transferred to our office in Luxembourg.

His experience has focused on leading audit engagements across a number of worldwide companies, including a wide spectrum of investment funds - equities, fixed income, emerging markets, hedge funds, private equity funds, as well as corporate audits including banks, broker/dealers and investment advisors.

Since relocating in Luxembourg, Mike has spent a significant amount of time in the fund industry primarily covering US and UK promoters which included responsibilities for actively promoting Luxembourg in the US as well as the UK. He is leading our Blockchain/Crypto team in Lux which involves working with local and international players active in this space. He is also chairing the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs (ILA) Fund Committee and is a member of the ALFI Fund Governance Forum.
