The ILA Company Secretarial and Governance Officer Committee would like to invite ILA members and non-members to its new Breakfast Briefing Session, to be held on 19 September 2023.
This session will provide an overview on the latest hot topics in Luxembourg corporate law, such as the new foreign direct investment (FDI) screening law, the insolvency law reform, the planned introduction of a merger control regime, and certain refinements to the Luxembourg law dated 10 August 1915 on commercial companies.
In addition, this session will focus on the impact of the implantation of the Directive (EU) 2019/1151 dated 20 June 2019, also known as the “digitalisation directive”, under Luxembourg law, which allows, among others, for the online incorporation of certain types of companies, the mandatory registration of branches, and the digitalisation of the legal system and, more specifically, of Luxembourg notarial practice.
The session will be conducted in English.
