Jean is a professional non-executive director on investment funds and management companies (alternatives and traditional strategies) in Luxembourg. He is also focusing on the Fintech sector evolution.

He was a hands-on bank and asset management executive and, held various international positions in Paris, Singapore, Tokyo and New York with Banque Indosuez, Credit Commercial de France and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

In the process, he has built a wide financial experience in banks (17 years) and asset management (10 years) organizations. Initially trained as a Credit analyst, he became a Trader and Treasurer (Banque Indosuez in Asia). He subsequently held executive director of bank branches positions (CCF in Japan and USA). He has been a securities principal in the USA and a portfolio manager.

Jean holds an MBA with ESSEC (France). Courses at INSEAD (European Bank management -1992, IDP - 2013 and Leading from the Chair - 2017) as well as a comprehensive Fintech course with Said Business School (2018)

Over the years, he has developed a deep understanding of risk (credit, market, operations) as well as an interest for internal audit processes and compliance. He has a 10-year experience in various governing bodies.
