    Torben Madsen is the founding Partner of MAVETO S.à.r.l. He offers his services as an Independent Non-Executive Director and consulting services to companies in the financial service and the card and payment industries. He currently serves as a board member in three Luxembourg SPF's investment vehicles and also serves on the board of a Luxembourg bank. Prior to founding MAVETO S.á.r.l. Torben Madsen was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Catella Bank S.A., responsible for the daily management of the Bank. Torben is an accomplished banking professional with a solid progressive history and more than 30 years of experience within the banking sector, especially in capital markets, wealth management, cards, and payment services. He has strong communication and analytical skills and a good track record in multi-cultural people management and development With particular experience gained during significant organizational changes, he successfully executed the divestment of business lines within asset management and the cards and payment industry. 

     

    He exercise his duties with a high degree of commitment and integrity. He is skilled in providing clear direction, coaching and development, promoting teamwork, exercising the interaction with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of respect and diplomacy and combining solid strategic thinking with proven commercial acumen and an ability to translate organizational goals into tangible results. Previously, he set up Banque Invik Asset Management S.A. and formerly worked in various positions within the Nordea Group. In addition, he has previously served as a director on the boards of several regulated investment funds in Luxembourg. He holds a degree in International Marketing and Management  from Niels Brock School of International Business in Copenhagen. Torben fluently speaks Danish (native), Swedish, Norwegian, English, French, and German.
