Frederic Mouchel is a member of the ILA Board of Directors.

Fred started in 2020 a new career as independent director. He chairs the Board of Directors of RBC Investor Services Bank SA and also sits on the Board and Risk & Audit Committee of the European top company of a large US Asset Manager (Columbia Threadneedle Investments).

Prior to becoming an Independent Director, Fred had a 32-year career at JPMorgan in Paris, London and Luxembourg. His last executive position was as CEO and member of the Board of Directors of JPMorgan Bank Luxembourg S.A (JPMBL) also leading the bank’s Treasury Services and Commercial Bank Businesses. 

Prior to taking his JPMBL responsibilities, Fred was for nine years JPMorgan Europe Middle-East and Africa (EMEA)’s Treasurer based in London. 

In addition, for the last twelve years Fred also held various director mandates as executive or non-executive on the Board of regulated banks in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Luxembourg. 

Fred holds a Master from École Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers - France (ESSCA) and recently completed an INSEAD Certification in Corporate Governance and completed his ILA Certification. He speaks fluent French and English.
