    Career oversight

    After a short experience in the auditors' business (Price Waterhouse), Claude joined the organization/IT team of a bank (now ING Luxembourg) in 1992.

    From managing the local Private Banking Middle Office desk, he moved rapidly to the client side as senior relationship manager for French and Belgian Private Banking clients.

    In September 1998, he then took an opportunity to serve a UHNWI clientele at the International Private Banking team of DEXIA BIL Bank Luxembourg and eventually became Head of Central & Eastern European client market which made him travel frequently to meet clients and advisors.

    In parallel, he did also act for a number of years as a teacher/consultant for ATTF (agency linked to the Luxembourg Banking Association) ( courses given in Lux, China, Baltic countries).

    Beginning 2003 he then left the bank and created a Single-Family Office in Luxembourg for a billionaire family resident in Switzerland. As Family Office Managing Director and CEO he expanded and developed for over 20 years by adding local offices in Switzerland, London, Italy. Linked his role in the Family Office, he holds a number of Director roles as well as Trust protector roles.

    From 2012 onwards, Claude was sharing his time between Luxembourg and London where the beneficiary family had relocated to and where many projects were conducted and decided.

    Since  2022, Claude has moved gradually away from daily operations oversight. He strives to use his time more on strategic and international issues, and further his INSEAD and ILA certifications, he also considers for the senior chapter of his career to select just a few senior board / advisory roles which will allow him to spend all his time on important and crucial matters and bringing his experience and added value to people, families and companies.

    Indeed Claude’s 30+ years of international career and the respectful and successful navigation through troubled times ( 2008 banking crisis, 2020 Covid crisis, 2022 UKR war and subsequent sanctions ) should allow him to have senior views and bring careful and wise long-term thinking to multi-generational businesses / families.
