My professional experience spans for more than 30 years, twenty of which in financial sector within a regulated European environment with three banks of the SG Group. I was Member of the Executive Committee for SGSS Spa and SGBT Luxembourg and Member of the Board of Directors for SGSS Spa.  

After a long experience in the “traditional banking” sector, I decided to become an entrepreneur and launched a successful venture in fintech, more specifically in payment systems and digital banking that I have sold my shares.

The technical competences that I have acquired first via my education and then all along my career allow me to pay a particular attention to risk culture, regulatory requirements, strategic planning, rigorous processes and policies.

My knowledge and experience in Finance and Banking have been complemented with a strong expertise in IT and digital sector acquired within the banks and the start-up I have contributed to create.

2010-2018    Country Manager SOCIETE GENERALE Securities Services Luxembourg

·   In charge of all core aspects of the business: local development strategy, operations, legal, risk, compliance, client service, relationship management and sales department (700+ people)

·   Responsible for the relationship with the regulator (CSSF)

·   Chairman of the Securities Committee of the ABBL (The Luxembourg Banker’s Association)
