Eric Bedell is the Chief Privacy Officer of Franklin Templeton. He is leading FT Global Privacy Program and manages 11 employees spread across the globe.

This global program spreads across 39 privacy jurisdictions and covers 200+ entities. Eric works in Luxembourg since 1999, started his career a cabling technician, before climbing the roles scale. Previously, Eric was the director of Verizon Luxembourg and recently worked as CISO for several financial institutions in Luxembourg.

He is now also supplying training modules for privacy with the House of Training (Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg) for DPO candidates. Finally, he was elected DPO of the Year 2020, by Luxembourg House of Security and was also nominated in the EU DPO top 200 list by the GDPR institute in 2019.
