WAGNER Yves, The Directors' Office

Yves Wagner, a Doctorate in economics, began his academic career as an Associate Professor at the University of Perpignan and a lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Economics at the University of Aix-Marseille III. In the mid-1980s, he joined BGL, where he became Vice-President of Economic Research.

In 1998, he was promoted to head of the asset management department and became CEO of Fortis Investment Management Luxembourg in 2002. Two years later, he helped set up The Directors Office (TDO), a 'factory' of Non-Executive Directors. This enabled him to sit on a number of financial and commercial organisations as well as becoming President of the Automobile Club de Luxembourg in 2011.

As a Non-Executive Director today, he continued to teach or hold chairs at different Universities and Business Schools, such as the “University of Luxembourg”, the “Institut de Formation Bancaire” and, the “Agence pour le Transfert de Technologies Financières”. He was also an advisor in research to the Luxembourg School of Finance.
