    • Biography

    João Amaral is a Non-Executive Director bringing strategic thinking, objective and balanced judgement, and a wealth of experience in banking, risk management and crisis management.

    With a career in banking spanning over thirty years, João's deep understanding of market dynamics and ability to assess and manage financial risks earned him a reputation as a strategic leader. João was a member of the Executive Board of Clearstream Banking S.A. from 2016 to 2024 and Chairman of the Risk Committee of LuxCSD S.A. from 2019 to 2024. João is currently a member of the Board of Director of Alliance Française in Brazil.

    João holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering.
