Enrico Canu is a Senior Advisor of the Growth Capital Division at the EIB. Previously, he was Head of Funds at CDP Equity, the holding company of CDP, the Italian National Promotional Bank. Prior to that, he held the position of Head of Unit, Equity, at the EIB, where he was responsible for investments in private equity and venture capital funds outside the European Union. Before this role, he focused on environmental and infrastructure fund investments. Prior to joining the EIB, he held positions at the European Investment Fund, concentrating on investments in mid-market and venture capital funds. He began his career at a European-based private equity fund, focusing on buyout and growth capital investments. He holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, a Master in Merchant Banking from LIUC, University Carlo Cattaneo, and a degree in Economics from the University of Siena.
