    • Biography

                                               

    Alexandre Cegarra joined Société Générale Group in 2005.

    He benefits from 20 years of professional experience in the banking and asset management industries, including time working as Portfolio Manager at HSBC and Equity Fund Manager at Candriam.

    He then joined Société Générale Private Banking Luxembourg as Head of Equity Portfolio Management.

    After having extended its responsibilities in 2009 as Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management, he has been appointed Chief Investment Officer in December 2011.

    Alexandre is Chief Executive Officer at Société Générale Private Wealth Management (SGPWM) since October 2013 and oversees Asset Management activities for Luxembourg, Geneva and Monaco.

    Alexandre also holds Non-Executive Director mandates since 2009 in various financial areas as Asset Management, Fund Governance and Life Insurance.

    Alexandre holds a Master’s degree in Finance and is CFA and CAIA Charterholder. He is also Certified Independent Director from ILA and INSEAD IDP graduate.

    Alexandre is born in 1976, married and father of two children.
