Stefano brings more than 30 years of extensive experience to Luxembourg’s asset management industry, where he has built a distinguished career as both an Investment Manager and a Risk Manager. Throughout his professional journey, he has held key positions at several prominent banks and a management company, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s operational, regulatory, and strategic dimensions.

Over the past 15 years, Stefano has developed a robust expertise in corporate governance. His involvement spans a variety of roles within the governance frameworks of Luxembourg-based companies and investment funds. Since 2017, corporate governance has become the cornerstone of his professional activities. In this capacity, he serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the boards of multiple Luxembourg Companies and Investment Funds.

Stefano’s academic credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” He has further enhanced his governance expertise by earning the INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance and achieving certification as a Director from the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA). These qualifications underscore his commitment to continuous professional development and his dedication to upholding the highest standards of governance.

Multilingual and internationally minded, Stefano is fluent in Italian, English, and French, with conversational Russian, below professional level. His multicultural background is complemented by his French-Italian heritage. He spent his formative years at a British school in Rome, which provided him with an international outlook from an early age, before completing his undergraduate education in the Italian system.
