Josée Denis is Senior Asset Management, Banking and Asset Servicing specialist with a diverse +30 years of industry experience and sustained record of achievement across the asset management, asset servicing and banking sectors with a broad set of skills developed from a range of roles achieved with a blend of strategic, tactical and operational management.

Prior to transitioning to independent Directorship roles, Josée was the Country Head, CEO & Head of Depository Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Luxembourg Branch with the primary remit to set up SCB’s Luxembourg Branch and corresponding business model in May 2013 as SCB received the regulators’ (FSA and CSSF) authorisation to operate in Luxembourg.

Today, Josée is a CSSF approved Board Director, a dedicated independent non-Executive Director and Strategic Advisor for investment fund related entities - asset managers, asset servicers, governmental & industry associations - supporting freelance consulting projects, interim Executive assignments. Her mandates typically cover both Asset Management and Asset Servicing for all fund types, global fund distribution and product management, also delivering talent development training curriculums, organisational coaching and transformation, Marketing & Communication and Events programmes.

Josée brings a wealth of experience and strategic perspective to her Board and advisory mandates. Josée’s main focus areas are chair and member of financial services related industry committees, business development, change management, product management, corporate governance alongside supporting the definition and delivery of international and local Luxembourg training, organisational coaching and transformation projects, producing and delivering key conferences.
Josée was the Founder and Chair of the ALFI TA & Distribution Operations Forum (launched in 1999) for 19 years, a distinct and unique fund distribution operations committee, recognised worldwide and operating to date to serve the asset servicers community.
