Jean-Michel Detournay is a Non-Executive Director with a broad international experience as Senior Finance Executive in a MNE environment in Luxembourg, Belgium, Brazil and USA. He is a finance generalist with long expertise in Tax, M&A, Corporate Finance, CFO of specialty business, Management of Financial and Holding companies, Reinsurance captives and Insurance Mutuals. 

He specializes in directorship services to Reinsurance Captives in Luxembourg, with responsibility for the Internal Audit function. He is also a licensed manager for reinsurance companies. Previously, he spent most of his career in the finance function of the Solvay Group, including positions of VP Finance of the SBU Specialty Polymers and Holding & Finance Europe.

Jean-Michel holds a Master’s Degree in Business Engineering and a Master in Tax Management from the Solvay Business School in Brussels.
