    • Biography

    Fernand is known by many for his role as Founding CEO of Luxembourg for Finance, the agency for the development of the financial center.

    He also lead as managing director an actuarial and risk management advisory firm and worked for many years for the Luxembourg Bankers Association ABBL.

    He lectured mathematics of finance for 18 years at the University of Luxembourg.

    Back in 2013, he started his INSEAD and ILA certification as a director. He is today the Chair of Liberty Mutual in Luxembourg and sits on the board of a captive reinsurance company. He is also serving on the board of a bank and 3 AIFMs as well as several alternative investment funds.

    Fernand was the Founding Chair of the Economist Club Luxembourg and he is the Treasurer of ALAN, the rare diseases association of Luxembourg.
