Jens provides more than 20 years of expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Development and Investment Fund management and combines Front-Office execution know-how with a deep understanding of Corporate Strategy and the fund management industry.

Jens has been in M&A Investment Banking with Société Générale, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan for more than 10 years to execute transactions for international Corporates and Private Equity investors in exits, trade sales and IPO’s.

Continuing his career in leadership roles such as CEO in a publicly quoted Financial Services firm and heading Corporate Development activities in international firms such as Altana Chemicals, Swissport and Gates Industrial, he provides significant expertise in M&A, Restructuring, Innovation Management and Buy-and-Build Integration projects to a fund’s Governance function.

Having moved to Luxembourg in 2018, Jens worked for APEX Group companies in various positions and services which today provides for a solid knowledge about international fund management and services from AIFM to Administration and Depositary. Thereby he uniquely combines expertise from Front-, Middle- and Back-office to his Directorships in Alternative Funds.

Since 2019, Jens is Independent Director in various Fund-of-Fund, Private Equity, Private Debt and Real Estate funds and held Directorships in Corporate Venture structures.

Having graduated from University of Stuttgart in 1998 majoring in Business Administration and Civil Engineering, Jens also holds an EMBA from Mannheim Business School and ESSEC. Jens is a Certified Director with ILA and Deutsche Börse AG since 2021.
