In 2007, Guy Hoffmann joined Banque Raiffeisen Luxembourg as Adviser to the Management Board. After having become a Member of the Management Board in 2007 and Member of the Board of Directors in 2008, he was appointed CEO in 2011.

Guy Hoffmann holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Sheffield Hallam University and honed his skills by completing various academic and executive education programs including courses at IMD (Lausanne) and the Chartered Institute of Bankers (London). He started his professional career at Banque Générale du Luxembourg, where he held various senior positions including Director of Commercial Banking and Head of International Risk Management.

Guy Hoffmann holds a series of professional mandates. He is amongst others Member of the Executive Committee of the European Association of Cooperative Banks (Brussels), Member of the Presidium at the International Raiffeisen Union (Bonn) and Member elect of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

Guy Hoffmann has been a Member of the ABBL Board of Directors since 2016 and was elected ABBL Chairman in April 2018.
