Hervé Podevyn has been serving as Country Head and Conducting Officer at Nikko Asset Management Luxembourg S.A. since 2017. Nikko Asset Management Luxembourg S.A. is the Luxembourg-based investment fund management company of the Nikko AM Group. He was appointed Managing Director in 2020.

With over 35 years of experience in the asset and wealth management industry in Belgium and Luxembourg, he has held various leadership roles. Previously, he served as Chief Investment Officer at the Belgian branch of Indosuez Wealth Europe (Crédit Agricole Group) and as a Conducting Officer at Lux International Strategy, a self-managed UCITS fund, for eight years. He also gained experience in audit and corporate finance advisory services at Deloitte Luxembourg.

Hervé has been an active member of ALCO, the “Luxembourg Association of Compliance Officers," since 2003. Additionally, he is a Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst (1997), an ILA Certified Director Fund Governance Expert (2025) and an ILA Certified Director (2014) from the Luxembourg Institute of Directors. Hervé holds a master's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Namur, Belgium (1987) and is fluent in French and English.
