Olivier Ries has over 15 years’ experience in the financial sector. For the past 5 years, he has been an independent board member of several investment funds domiciled in Luxembourg. Mr Ries is the founding Managing Partner of a Luxembourg-based consultancy firm which provides advisory and training services to the tertiary sector and banking industry. He is also co-founder of the insurance brokerage firm “Assurances de Luxembourg”.
After graduating from the University of Strasbourg (M.Sc. 1999) in Economics and Actuarial Sciences, Mr Ries has worked in Paris and Luxembourg for several financial institutions and the telco sector. From 2007 to 2016, Mr Ries operated as founding Managing Partner of a business consulting firm offering its services on the French and BELUX markets. From 2017 to 2022, Mr Ries served as Program Manager for strategic initiatives at Banque de Luxembourg.
