Luc Scheer is an ILA and Guberna certified director. He currently serves as the General Director of “Centre de Réhabilitation Château de Colpach,” a specialized medical clinic under the aegis of the Luxembourg Red Cross and is also a member of the Management Committee of that organization where he has overseen the HR, communication, and fundraising functions over a decade of transformative growth.

Luc currently is a member of the boards of several institutions, including the Fédération des Hôpitaux Luxembourg and sub-entities of the Red Cross. He has prior board experience in ArcelorMittal subsidiaries and in the non-profit arena.

Before joining the Red Cross, he held a range of senior positions in international groups, including ArcelorMittal, where he was responsible for global media relations as well as HR at business unit and country level and Goodyear, where he led the communications effort for EMEA. He has contributed to major restructuring programs, M&A, financial and crisis communications, and organization-wide transformation initiatives. 

Luc holds an MA in Communications from Sorbonne University (CELSA Paris-IV) and completed the Duke University executive education program. He is a certified coach (ICN Business School).

Luc is fully fluent in English, German, French, and Luxembourgish.
