Katarina's career in finance began in 2008 at UBS in Switzerland, where she started in the Hedge Funds Corporate Actions department. After six years, she moved to Strategic Capital Management AG in Switzerland, a private market boutique that was acquired by Mercer shortly after. 

Katarina was part of the fund administration team for a few months when she became team leader. After two years, her role expanded and she was given oversight of other teams within global risk management. Mrs Stanojkovic then moved with the family to Luxembourg and took on the role of Conducting Officer at the AIFM unit for two and a half years. She then moved back to Zurich to take on further responsibilities within Mercer and had since been working for the AIFM as a Board Director.
