CHINNOCK Sean, Forenso S.à r.l.

Sean Chinnock is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in Executive Management in the financial services industry, and over 5 years experience sitting on various Boards, having held Board seats in both Executive and Non-Executive roles.  Sean has a strong background in the Digital field, and a relevant academic background. 

Sean has gained over 30 years of practical professional experience. He began his career at EDS (Electronic Data Systems), a major Technology Services provider, providing Technology services to the Automotive Sector, throughout his time at EDS he worked his way up the organization through a number of roles, and specifically building a strong reputation for project management, transformational roles, and coaching roles.  Sean then went on to continue his career in technology working for Clearstream Services, a major financial infrastructure player in International markets, Headquartered in Luxembourg.  During his time at Clearstream Services, Sean worked in many different areas throughout the entire broader group organization of Deutsche Boerse AG.

Sean took his first role on a Board of Directors in 2014, on the board of, Impendium Systems Ltd, a UK based RegTech, initially as a Non-Executive Director but later as an Executive (CEO), charged with integrating Impendium Systems into the DBAG group.  Later in the same year Sean took his second board role at Indexium AG, a Swiss based technology provider in the Index space, as a non-Executive Director, charged with giving them guidance on solving their offshore technology governance.  Sean then went on to become an Executive Board Member of Clearstream Services, on which he served for 5 years, he acted as a CSSF approved Chief Product Office and member of the Executive Board of Directors and was mainly responsible for Financial Industry customers of Clearstream Services, along with risk, compliance and governance matters of Clearstream Services.

Sean believes that enabling a strong corporate governance framework in the operation of the board is a key safeguard for the protection of stakeholders and the integrity of the business.
