Oliver Heiland is the founder of Capital for Resilience, a boutique advisory firm that partners with investors to design innovative investment solutions addressing climate change, unlocking the value of natural capital, and leveraging technology for sustainable impact.

He brings over two decades of experience in private markets, combining legal expertise with a strong track record in building investment platforms, structuring funds and mandates, and executing investments across private equity, private debt, and impact investing. His work spans the full investment lifecycle, from ideation to governance and portfolio engagement, in both emerging and developed markets.

Previously, Oliver held executive roles—including as a CSSF-regulated board member—at Finance in Motion, a global impact asset manager, and senior leadership Legal & Compliance functions at Allianz Global Investors. A qualified attorney with a Ph.D. in international law, he began his career at Allen & Overy in 2001 and has lectured at Goethe University since 2009 (Sustainable infrastructure investments for institutional investors).
