FENTON Forbes, M&G Luxembourg SA

Forbes Fenton joined M&G in 1999 and was appointed Portfolio Management Conducting Officer in 2020.

In his role, he is CSSF Authorised Conducting Officer for M&G Luxembourg with responsibility for oversight of all funds and mandates managed on a discretionary or delegated basis. He currently oversees over 160 funds across a range of fund types and asset classes for retail and institutional clients.
Before being in Luxembourg, Forbes worked in the M&G Group Risk function for the previous 20 years. In this role he was responsible for investment oversight of the Fixed Income and Multi-Asset funds and segregated mandates totalling over Eur 120 billion AUM across a range of UCITS, AIFs, segregated fund mandates.  During this period, Forbes worked on various fund types that have been established across many asset classes and investment strategies including government securities, corporate bonds, equities, real estate, private credit/equities, infrastructure and derivatives.

Forbes has also worked proactively in the industry as its representative on panels with IOSCO, ESMA and FCA through EFAMA and the Investment Association on topics such as fund liquidity and leverage. Previously Forbes worked as Head of Internal Audit at Prudential and N M Rothschild. 
Forbes is a qualified chartered accountant at the ICAEW and is a graduate from the University of Edinburgh.
