KLEIN Sebastian, Macquarie Group

Sebastian is working in the Luxembourg tax team of Macquarie Asset Management.

Since 2010, Sebastian has experience in Luxembourg and international taxation with a focus on the Alternative Investments industry. He has worked for 11 years with Big4s advising predominately Private Equity clients on any direct tax aspects prior to joining Macquarie in 2021. At Macquarie, Sebastian is supporting the Luxembourg fund and holding structures on deal structuring, reorganizations, distributions, refinancings, exit plannings as well as on any other ongoing queries from a tax perspective.

He studied business administration in Germany and the US with a focus on tax, accounting and international business management and holds a Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Tax from Saarland University (Germany) as well as a certification in Luxembourg tax.

He speaks fluent English and German.
