LAUER Marc, FOYER Assurances

Born in 1965 and of Luxembourg nationality, Marc Lauer holds a Master in Actuarial Sciences and a Master in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He began his career with the Commissariat aux Assurances in 1989, where he became a member of the Management Committee in 1995.

In 2004, he joined Foyer Group as Chief Operating Officer. On 16 April 2013, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Foyer S.A. and since the General Meeting of 15 April 2014, he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Lauer is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Raiffeisen Vie S.A. and is a director of the following companies Foyer Assurances S.A., Foyer Vie S.A., WEALINS S.A. and CapitalatWork Foyer Group S.A.

He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association des Compagnies d'Assurances Luxembourg (ACA) since May 2020 and Chairman of the Institut National pour le Développement durable et la Responsabilité sociale des entreprises (INDR) since January 2021. Mr Lauer is also a founding member of the Luxembourg Association of Actuaries (ILAC), a full member of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, a member of the High Committee for the Financial Place (HCPF) and a director of the Federation of Professionals of the Financial Sector in Luxembourg (PROFIL).

Mr Lauer speaks Luxembourgish, French, German and English and has a good knowledge of Swedish.
