SERRET Vanessa

Vanessa Serret is a professor at Lorraine University, specializing in Finance. Her research focuses on corporate governance, and she has made significant contributions to both academia and the advancement of her field. As a dedicated educator, she is actively involved in research and teaching, supervising PhD students and advancing knowledge in areas such as board governance, shareholder engagement, and green finance.

Her academic career is marked by her commitment to the International Academic Association of Governance, where she currently serves as a board member and treasurer. Vanessa also leads the Finance Research Team (80 members) within the CEREFIGE laboratory (European Center for Research in Financial Economics and Business Management), which includes 250 researchers from the University of Lorraine (https://cerefige.univ-lorraine.fr/).

She holds a PhD from Aix-Marseille University and has published in French and international academic journals such as Finance Contrôle Stratégie, Finance Research Letters, Revue Française de Gestion, Revue de Gestion des Ressources Humaines, Research in International Business and Finance, Journal of Environmental Management, Managerial and Decision Economics, Revue Française de Gouvernance d’Entreprise, Resources Policy, among others.
