Dear ILA members, dear friends and partners,
The ILA Directors' Day 2023 promises to be a captivating and insightful experience. After the great interest and popularity last year, we decided to further expand the successful format of our flagship event by putting more topics on the agenda and by providing more time for networking. Distinguished speakers, both local and international, will delve into vital corporate governance topics, sharing their wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
Our programme is carefully crafted to cover topics of current relevance, from sustainability to the competitiveness of the Luxembourg economic model, to the profound impact of artificial intelligence on business and governance. We will engage in interactive panel discussions, and breakout sessions, all designed to broaden our horizons and deepen our understanding.
We are delighted to have Kris de Meyer, a distinguished neuroscientist and the Director of the UCL Climate Action Unit, lead an interactive session on the complex relationship between sustainability and cognitive biases. Our journey culminates with a keynote speech by Bruno Marie-Rose, Chief Information and Technology Officer of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. His insights will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression on our discussions.
We are also honoured to welcome once again Claude Marx, the Director General of the CSSF, who will share his insights on the current and upcoming regulatory challenges and opportunities shaping the corporate governance landscape.
As we convene at the European Convention Centre, we look forward to the participation of many of our 3,000 members. It promises to be a day of deep diving into the world of corporate governance, with stimulating discussions and networking opportunities that set our gathering apart.
