BARRE Laura, ACA - Association des Compagnies d'Assurances et de réassurances à Luxembourg

With a Master's degree in Financial Sector, Banking, and Insurance, and a PhD in Financial Law, Laura Barre began her career in indirect tax in 2016 and was seconded to a multinational group in Luxembourg in the industrial sector. She joined a non-life insurance group in 2018 as a tax specialist, then moved to the Legal and Compliance department. Over the next 4 years, Laura worked on issues related to the distribution of insurance products, relationships with intermediaries, and the delegation of authority and management of external service providers. 

Since joining ACA, Laura has been involved in international non-life insurance and reinsurance issues, as well as indirect taxation issues, and life insurance topics in the Italian and Nordic markets.
