CIESIELSKA Katia

Katia Ciesielska is an INSEAD- and ILA-Certified Independent Director and Consultant with board experience across Luxembourg, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Denmark, and Israel. Her experience spans commercial companies, regulated (UCITS, SIF) and professional investor fund vehicles (AIF, RAIF, partnerships), family offices, start-ups, and non-profit organizations.

Katia’s expertise includes corporate governance, investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and real estate deals, secured financings, risk management, ESG, AML/CFT, and compliance. She holds degrees in business and commercial law and has completed executive education programs at leading institutions including INSEAD (International Directors Programme), HEC Paris (International Certificate in Corporate Finance), LSE (Certificate in Real Estate Economics and Finance), Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance), and MIT Sloan (AI: Implications for Business Strategy).

Since 2021, she has been a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and acts as a compliance officer (RC) for various investment structures.

In addition to serving on the board of ILA, she is a member of ILA’s Corporate Governance Officers (CGO) Committee, the Think Tank, and the Education and Certification Committee. She also regularly contributes as a trainer, speaker, and panelist at industry events.
